  Well, the summer transfer window has now shut, and our squad is locked in until the winter window opens in January. The Blues seem to have faced a lot of backlash for their signings or lack thereof this transfer window. After what has been a less than impressive pre-season for Chelsea and a tumultuous start to the Premier League season, Chelsea fans have been calling for change/additions to be made to the squad. If you look at Chelsea’s form in their last fifteen Premier League games, Chelsea has bottom-half form and their slow start to the season seems to be continuing even after spending £140 million on Koulibaly, Cucurella and Sterling. The key issue going into the transfer window was to replace the missing pieces of the backline after the likes of Rudiger and Christensen left, however now the Blues have padded this out a little more with Koulibaly, Cucurella and now Fofana, the goal-scoring and play-making roles within the squad are what is crying out for attention. My Super Starting XI from the Women's Euros 2022

  After what has been nothing short of a wonder journey over the last few months, the Women's Euros 2022 have finally come to an end. England were crowned winners for the first time on Sunday when they beat Germany 2-1 in an intense battle at Wembley. With a record crowd of 87,192; that being the highest attendance at any Euros final, men or women's, this tournament has set the tone for Women's football going forward. Throughout the tournament, as well as an obvious desire to win, there has been an undercurrent of determination to advance the Women's game from all teams involved. This tournament was always about so much more than a trophy; it was about fighting for the equality that Women's football deserves.  Arguably the best two teams of the tournament were the two in the final, but there have been an array of stand-out players from a variety of countries. Southgate you're (not) the one

After an embarrassing Nations League campaign, many are questioning whether Gareth Southgate is indeed ‘the one’ to take England to the Qatar World Cup in November. Failing to win all three of their Nations League games this camp, a harrowing 4-0 defeat at home to Hungary and a last place position in their group has left England supporters wondering whether Southgate’s tenure has run its course. I think that it is rather unlikely that Southgate will be replaced so close to the World Cup, and to be quite honest, I don’t think that this would benefit the team at all.    Nations League Campaign To start, let’s have a look at England’s recent woeful run of Nations League games.
